I The Lord Of The Rings, The Battle For Middle-earth II får du nu muligheden for at opleve Midgård som det var meningen den skulle opleves. På baggrund af en ny aftale med The Saul Zaentz Company d/b/a Tolkien Enterprises har EA nu muligheden for at udvikle spil baseret på både filmene og bøgerne, hvor The Lord Of The Rings, The Battle For Middle-earth II er det første under denne aftale.
Med helt nyt indhold fra J.R.R. Tolkiens originale fiktion får du nu muligheden for at komme endnu dybere ind i det spændende univers og deltage i kampe som går ud over den prisvindende filmtrilogi. Udkæmp krige oppe nordpå og overtag kommandoen over de mest beskrevne hære i Midgård historie, nemlig elverne og dværgene eller kæmp på det ondes side med helte og skabninger som ikke blev set i filmene.
Forsvar eller tag kontroller over nye områder som Dol Guldur, The Misty Mountains og Mirkwood, alt imens du udnytter nye våben og evner, som f.eks. drager, vulkaner og lynnedslag. Men pas på. Med større kræft kommer flere muligheder. Dine modstandere, som er styret af et nyt kraftigt AI system, vil give dig udfordringer som aldrig før. Vil dine hære have styrken til at overleve?
