Da The Rolling Stones forberedte sig på at spille to nætter på Wembley Stadium i juni 1999, deres første London-shows i fire år, annoncerede de et overraskelsesshow i Londons Shepherd's Bush Empire den 8. juni 1999. En intim skare på 1.800 heldige fans blev overrasket med række sjældent hørte ædelstene i løbet af 96 minutter.
Som Mick Jagger udtalte fra scenen den aften: "If you want to see the hits go to the big place down the road".
