Colby Mills once believed a music career was his destiny, but tragedy forced him to put those dreams on hold. Seeking a break from his responsibilities at home, he impulsively accepts a gig at a bar in Florida. When he meets Morgan Lee, everything changes, making him question if the duties he’s carried must define his entire life.

Morgan is heading to Nashville with dreams of stardom and hopes Colby will join her. As their love grows quickly, Beverly is on a very different path. She’s escaping an abusive husband with her young son, trying to rebuild their lives in a quiet town far from danger, though time and money are running out.

Over the course of one unforgettable week, these three very different individuals will face tests of love and courage. As fate intertwines their stories, each must decide if the dream of a better future can outweigh the burdens of their past.
