Eleven Percent

Beskrivelse

In a world where men have nearly vanished, only eleven percent remain, kept under strict control for reproduction and pleasure. This new era sees women living in transformed societies, with old patriarchal structures fading away.

A glimpse into a future shaped by female rule, where the remnants of men are confined and social order is radically redefined.

Welcome to the New Time, a period not unlike our own but with one crucial difference: men are almost extinct. Only eleven percent survive, just enough to prevent inbreeding. These men are confined to "spa" centres, managed by amazon-like women who train them to satisfy every desire and fulfill their reproductive role.

While some women argue for better treatment of these males-more space and improved food-everyone agrees that testosterone must be tightly controlled. The patriarchal cities of the past are now crumbling and overrun by nature, replaced by "round communities," though some still choose to live in slums.

Religion endures in a peculiar form: women priestesses speak in tongues, inspired by snake venom, as apples are shared among the faithful. Yet, beneath this carefully engineered society lie hidden costs.

Four lives intersect in this women-led world:

• Medea, a tiny witch with long hair who can communicate with snakes;
• Wicca, a young priestess skilled in the "self-pleasuring" school curriculum, mourning her pregnant lover;
• Eva, a doctor employed at a spa centre;
• Silence, who dwells in an almost deserted convent.

Each woman will come to see the flaws beneath this so-called paradise.
