Fantastisk flot album fra den cubanske sanger, sanskriver og musiker Guillermo Portables. El Carretero udkom i 1996 og byder på 16 fantastisk numre i Guajira-stil, der er helt særegent for ham. Denne stil minder lidt om en cubansk form for salsamusik, og ligger som lidt af en undergenre til Son Montuno.
