Street Art NYC highlights both authorized and unauthorized creations captured over a transformative decade that introduced more than a dozen captivating projects. Key community-driven initiatives like the Bushwick Collective, L.I.S.A Project NYC, and the Welling Court Mural Project are featured, each accompanied by insightful introductory essays.

The book also explores local festivals and projects that engage with environmental and social themes, documenting notable moments such as Banksy’s 2013 month-long residency, Better Out Than In. It pays tribute to the iconic 5 Pointz, a legendary graffiti and street art hotspot.

This project is a collaboration between Lord K2, an award-winning photographer and curator of the online Museum of Urban Art, and Lois Stavsky, a respected street art documentarian and editor of the popular blog Street Art NYC.
