A heartfelt story about bridging generational gaps through a journey back in time.

Samantha Kang has always clashed with her mom, Priscilla, a first-generation Korean American who once thrived as a high school cheerleader and hopes Sam shares her traditional American dreams. But Sam is a modern girl, uninterested in those outdated high school goals.

After a major argument, Sam wants nothing more than to escape from her mom-only to be suddenly hurled back in time to the '90s, landing right alongside a teenage Priscilla. Now, Sam must navigate the quirks of old-school technology, face the era's backward attitudes, and even deal with a complicated romance involving the right guy in the wrong decade.

With time running out, Sam has to find a way to mend her bond with Priscilla or risk being stuck in a world without the conveniences of today. This unexpected trip to the past forces Sam to rethink everything she believed about her mom-and herself.
