Guidebook to 25 extended walks in the Dolomites mountains in the far northeast of Italy. The walks are mostly circular and 2 to 4 days long, and take in the Marmarole, Marmolada, Civet, Sella and Cortina Dolomites among others. Includes notes on accommodation, wildlife, transport, equipment, a glossary and other practical information.
Author Biography: Gillian Price has trekked throughout Asia and the Himalayas, but now lives in Venice and is exploring the mountain ranges of Italy to write a series of outstanding Cicerone guides. Starting in the Italian Dolomites, Gillian has written guides to walking all over Italy as well as Corsica. In 2009 she was elected as a councillor to the Venice branch of the Italian Alpine Club and is a member of Mountain Wilderness.
