About the author: Jan Damsgaard holds a master’s degree in computer science, a PhD, and serves as a professor at the Department of Digitalization at CBS. He acts as a national digital advisor and is part of the expert group supporting the Danish government’s digital task force aimed at positioning Denmark as a leader in AI for public administration.

Jan’s research focuses on how companies can generate value from emerging digital technologies. Besides AI, his interests include digital business models, blockchain, MilTech, and the Internet of Things. He also teaches digitalization across various programs at CBS, including the MBA, Børsen and CBS board training, and CBS Executive courses.
