American Roommate Experiment

Beskrivelse

Rosie Graham has just quit her well-paid job to chase her dream of writing romance novels, but writer's block and unexpected apartment troubles throw a wrench in her plans. When her New York apartment ceiling collapses, she finds herself sharing space with Lucas Martin, her Instagram crush and her best friend’s cousin.

A quirky living arrangement sparks a creative experiment to reignite Rosie’s romance writing and meet her looming deadline.

From the author behind the Goodreads Choice Award-winning The Spanish Love Deception comes the much-anticipated follow-up featuring Rosie Graham and Lucas Martin.

Rosie faces several challenges: she hasn't told her family about quitting her job, she’s stuck with writer’s block, and now her apartment ceiling literally falls apart. Thankfully, she has a spare key to her best friend Lina’s apartment while Lina is away. However, Rosie doesn’t realize Lina has already lent that apartment to Lucas, her cousin.

Lucas, the man Rosie has been quietly stalking on Instagram, turns out to be quite the charming rescue-though instead of a knight in shining armor, he’s more likely to be found strolling around in a towel, flashing a distracting grin, and cooking up a storm.

Lucas offers Rosie a place to stay until she finds affordable housing. Then, he suggests a bold plan: a series of experimental dates designed to jump-start her romantic inspiration and help her finish her book on time.

With nothing to lose, Rosie agrees. But Lucas’s time in New York is limited, and six weeks might not be enough-either for her creativity or for the unexpected connection growing between them.
