An intimate look at Melania Trump's life through the eyes of a close confidante and advisor.

Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, former Vogue special events director and producer of nine iconic Met Galas, first met Melania Knauss in 2003. She witnessed Melania’s transformation from a raw talent into a polished figure, all while their friendship grew over lunches in Manhattan, glamorous parties, and private moments at Trump Tower.

Wolkoff saw Melania juggle motherhood with raising Barron and navigate the intense scrutiny surrounding her marriage to Donald Trump. After the 2016 election victory, Wolkoff was brought on board to help with the 58th Presidential Inauguration and became a trusted advisor to the First Lady.

In her role, she managed staffing, organized events, assisted with speeches, and helped launch Melania’s initiatives. However, their relationship shattered when Wolkoff was blamed for financial issues linked to the inauguration. Despite Wolkoff’s innocence, Melania chose to stand by her husband, leaving Wolkoff feeling deeply betrayed.

This candid and emotional memoir takes readers inside Trump Tower and the White House, sharing the funny, thrilling, and heartbreaking moments of their friendship. Wolkoff explores Melania’s reactions to major events such as the Access Hollywood tape and Donald Trump’s affair with Stormy Daniels, her relationship with Ivanka Trump, the story behind the infamous jacket with “I really don’t care, do u” on the back, and whether Melania truly found happiness as First Lady.

Wolkoff also offers her perspective on the controversial $107 million inauguration funding, shedding light on what really happened behind the scenes.
