Tweak

Beskrivelse

Tweak is Nic Sheff’s gripping true story of addiction, relapse, and the struggle to reclaim his life. From his first drink at 11 to battling crystal meth and heroin, Nic’s journey is both raw and honest.

A brutally honest memoir about addiction, relapse, and the fight for recovery.

Nic Sheff’s descent into addiction began early, with his first experience of alcohol at age 11. Over the years, he experimented with marijuana, cocaine, and ecstasy before falling into the grips of crystal meth and heroin. Despite his growing dependence, Nic believed he could quit whenever he wanted and regain control of his life.

But a violent relapse one summer shattered that illusion. In this unflinching memoir, Nic shares every detail of his struggle with addiction and the difficult path toward recovery. His story reveals a man caught in conflict with his past, his family, his substances, and ultimately himself.

Tweak is a raw and powerful account that offers hope amidst hardship. It stands as a compelling companion to his father’s memoir, Beautiful Boy, shedding light on the painful realities of addiction and the courage it takes to heal.
