This booklet showcases the work of students from the Urban Design and Planning Studio 3, part of the Bachelor of Civil Engineering and Architecture program at the University of Southern Denmark in Odense. It presents a spatial planning simulation based on a condensed version of a full planning process.
An in-depth exploration of spatial planning through student-led analysis and strategy development.
The booklet follows the initial three phases of the planning process: analysis, strategy, and masterplan with action. It begins with an introduction detailing the collaboration between the studio, local administration, and various experts involved in the case study.
The case study is examined through a detailed analysis that moves from the broader city scale down to the neighborhood level. Based on the findings from this investigation, two student groups propose distinct visions, strategies, masterplans, and actions tailored to address the identified issues.
