This book is part of a series from the East Jutland Museum. This book shines a new light on the causewayed enclosures in South Scandinavia based on research conducted in Djursland Peninsula in Eastern Jutland. This part of the country was chosen due to the region's richness of megalithic graves and burial mounds and because of number of Neolithic enclosures, which is the largest known within the nothern TRB Group distribution area.
A section of the book is dedicated to the examination of the European aspect of the Scandinavian enclosures in greater detail.
