It dives into Araki's signature subjects, including bustling Tokyo street scenes, expressive faces, vibrant foods, lush flowers, and intimate depictions of female anatomy. The book also explores the Japanese art of kinbaku, or bondage, where restrained yet defiant women and suggestively shaped petals highlight themes of control and freedom, life and death, calm and shock.
