After being away for thirty years, author and photographer Peter Bang returned to the outer islands of the State of Yap. He revisited the tiny Micronesian paradise islands from his youth, capturing their beauty and the lives of the people who live there.
These islands are now at risk, slowly vanishing due to rising sea levels driven by climate change, making this photo documentary a poignant record of a disappearing world.
