Snowflake

Beskrivelse

Meet Debbie White, a young woman whose mind is far from perfect and whose dreams feel intensely real. Living on a dairy farm with her mother and uncle, Debbie is about to begin a new chapter as a student at Trinity College Dublin.

A heartfelt tale of family, friendship, and finding your place amid life's challenges.

Debbie's life on the farm is anything but ordinary. Her uncle Billy spends nights in a garden caravan, accompanied only by whiskey and the stars, while her mother Maeve records dreams she believes to be prophetic. This unusual family dynamic forms Debbie's everyday world.

As Debbie steps into the sophisticated environment of college, she finds herself torn between new friendships and the protective bubble of her family. But as she tries to balance these two worlds, cracks begin to show.

Maeve’s quirky behavior takes a darker turn, and Billy’s drinking worsens, leaving Debbie to face the most challenging parts of herself and her life. Despite the chaos, the Whites remain a fiercely loving unit, offering each other a true sense of safety.

Snowflake is a bold, fresh, and utterly unique story about the complexities of family, the messiness of friendships, and how starting a new chapter often means coming full circle.
