An enchanting fable that reveals the true meaning of what matters most in life.
When a pilot finds himself stranded in the desert, he wakes up to an unexpected visitor-a curious little boy who asks him to draw a sheep. This simple request sets off a magical story that explores the mysteries of life through the eyes of a child.
The Little Prince, written by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry during his exile in the United States, has become a beloved classic. Saint-Exupéry, born in Lyons, France, disappeared a year after the book’s release while on a reconnaissance flight over the Mediterranean.
This edition includes Katherine Woods’ original 1943 English translation, widely regarded as the definitive version. Her poetic rendering perfectly captures the charm and wonder of Saint-Exupéry’s storytelling, making this book a treasured gift for readers of all ages.
