Treasure Island, Er C

Beskrivelse

Treasure Island is a classic tale filled with pirates, hidden treasure, and thrilling adventures on the high seas. It follows young Jim Hawkins as he embarks on a dangerous journey sparked by a mysterious map.

A gripping adventure of pirates, buried gold, and daring exploits on the ocean.

Robert Louis Stevenson crafted this story to captivate young readers with tales of sailors, fierce storms, and exotic islands. The plot centers around the ruthless Captain Flint, who, on his deathbed in 1754, reveals the location of his treasure-a fortune of seven hundred thousand pounds in silver and gold-marked on a secret map.

Jim Hawkins lives a quiet life with his parents until he encounters Billy Bones, an enigmatic old sailor in possession of Flint’s treasure map. From there, Jim is swept into a dangerous adventure that leads to the deaths of seventeen men and involves a cast of memorable characters.

Among them are the sinister seaman Pew, the noble Squire Trelawney, the wise Dr. Livesey, the unfortunate Ben Gunn, and the infamous Long John Silver. Silver, a one-legged pirate with a two-faced nature, is accompanied by a green parrot that eerily repeats Captain Flint’s treasure call: “Pieces of eight! Pieces of eight!”
