The book delves into questions about how literature can engage readers, address important issues, and foster attachments and communities. These themes were examined in the research project Uses of Literature, The Social Dimensions of Literature, conducted at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) from 2016 to 2021 under the leadership of Niels Bohr Professor Rita Felski.
