Bullet Points And Bullshit

Beskrivelse

A vivid collection of poetry capturing raw emotions and sharp contrasts, "Bullet Points and Bullshit" by Ramsalte dives into life’s gritty realities with striking imagery and heartfelt reflections.

A powerful blend of poetic snapshots exploring themes of life, loyalty, and cultural experiences.

The guns are loaded and the fuses are burning-this is a world of bullet points and bullshit, where bangers and mash hit hard and leave a lasting impression. The phrase repeats like a mantra, emphasizing the stark truths and harsh realities woven throughout the verses.

Blood is said to be thicker than water, yet here, bullet points and bullshit challenge that notion, mixing with white wine that tastes like tap water’s daughter. These vivid contrasts paint a picture of complex relationships and blurred lines.

Ramsalte draws from his own rich experiences living and working in Miri, Sarawak, and Kuala Belait, Brunei. His time spent journeying up Borneo’s rivers into the jungles, visiting the local Iban and Dayak communities, left a deep mark on him.

In the longhouses, among young men from offshore oil rigs and young women working as amas in expatriate homes, Ramsalte found moments he cherishes to this day-memories that continue to bring him joy and inspiration.
