This second volume picks up where the first left off, detailing how the party press faced new challenges after the turn of the century. It covers the rise of the omnibus newspaper, the debut of film in Denmark in 1896, the arrival of radio, the popularity of weekly cinema reviews, and the influence of American liberators who introduced a large-scale international media culture, among other key developments.
