This map focuses on the City of Vancouver on one side, while the reverse covers most of greater Vancouver. North Vancouver and West Vancouver stand apart as distinct municipalities situated on the north shore of Burrard Inlet, which forms the harbour that makes Vancouver the largest port on the Pacific coast.

There are four municipalities on the north shore, all named after Captain George Vancouver, the famed British naval explorer and cartographer. Despite this connection, these four areas remain separate, a curious mystery in itself. This map marks the first-ever street map covering all four municipalities, but it’s more than just streets-it highlights the mountains that define the Vancouver region’s appeal.
