Beskrivelse
Piranesi lives in an extraordinary House filled with endless halls, countless statues, and shifting tides. His days are spent documenting its mysteries, with occasional visits from a friend known as the Other. But when new messages start appearing, everything he knows begins to change.
A mesmerizing tale of discovery and mystery within a labyrinthine world.
Piranesi has always called the House his home. Every day, he carefully records the marvels around him-the vast maze of corridors, the thousands of statues, the tides that roar up staircases, and the clouds drifting slowly through the upper chambers.
On Tuesdays and Fridays, he meets with the Other, a companion in this strange place. At other times, he honors the Dead with offerings of food. Yet, most of the time, Piranesi is alone in the vastness of the House.
Suddenly, messages begin to appear, etched in chalk on the floors. Someone new has arrived, but their intentions are unclear. Are they a friend, or do they bring the destruction and madness that the Other warns about?
As secrets unravel and lost texts must be found, the world Piranesi thought he understood grows increasingly strange and perilous. Throughout it all, the House remains breathtakingly beautiful and endlessly kind.
