Route 66, famously known as the Mother Road of America, offers a travel adventure like no other. Whether you begin your journey in Santa Monica, California, heading east, or start from Chicago driving west and south, this trip is a remarkable experience open to everyone.

Route 66 holds the distinction of being the first fully paved road stretching all the way to the west coast. During World War II, millions of troops used this route on their way to the Pacific War against Japan.
