Beskrivelse
A timeless horror classic, The Shining by Stephen King follows young Danny, a boy with extraordinary psychic abilities, as his family faces terrifying events at an isolated hotel. As winter traps them inside, the sinister secrets of the Overlook Hotel begin to surface.
A chilling tale of supernatural forces and psychological terror at a haunted hotel.
Only five years old, Danny is described by Mr. Hallorann as a "shiner," a child glowing with psychic energy. When Danny’s father takes on the role of caretaker at the remote Overlook Hotel, Danny’s unsettling visions start to spiral out of control.
As the harsh winter sets in and blizzards isolate the family, the hotel seems to take on a life of its own. Although it’s supposed to be deserted, strange occurrences start to happen: who is the mysterious woman in Room 217? What about the masked figures appearing and disappearing in the elevator? And why do the animal-shaped hedges appear almost alive?
There is an evil presence lurking within the hotel’s walls, and it’s beginning to shine through Danny’s psychic gift.
