The Storm Sister

Beskrivelse

The Storm Sister is the gripping second installment in Lucinda Riley's captivating series inspired by the mythology of a famous star constellation. It follows Ally D'Apliese as she faces personal upheaval and embarks on a journey to uncover her true heritage.

A thrilling tale of family secrets, love, and self-discovery set against the backdrop of Norway’s icy landscapes.

Ally D'Apliese is preparing to compete in one of the world's most dangerous yacht races when she receives shocking news: her adoptive father, the enigmatic billionaire known as Pa Salt, has died suddenly. She rushes home to reunite with her five sisters and finds that Pa Salt has left each of them a mysterious clue pointing to their real origins.

Recently caught up in a passionate romance that promises to alter her future, Ally decides to leave the sea behind and follow the trail her father has laid out. Her search leads her to the breathtaking, icy beauty of Norway, where she begins to uncover her roots.

Ally’s story becomes entwined with that of Anna Landvik, a little-known singer from over a century ago who performed in the debut of Grieg’s music for Ibsen’s play 'Peer Gynt'. As Ally delves deeper into Anna’s life, she starts to question the true nature of Pa Salt and wonders about the whereabouts of the missing seventh sister.
