Beskrivelse
In the small town of Castle Rock, Scott Carey is dealing with a bizarre condition-he's losing weight every day but shows no visible change. He only shares this secret with his friend, Doctor Bob Ellis. Meanwhile, a new couple, Deirdre and Missy, have moved in next door, stirring some tension with their dogs.
A story about unexpected friendships and confronting prejudice in a close-knit community.
Castle Rock is a place where news travels fast, which is why Scott keeps his strange weight loss a secret, confiding only in Doctor Bob Ellis. When Deirdre and Missy, owners of a local fine dining spot, become his new neighbors, Scott isn’t thrilled about their dogs leaving messes on his lawn.
As the town gears up for its annual Thanksgiving 12K run, Scott begins to see the challenges and biases that Deirdre and Missy face. Through this, an unlikely friendship blossoms, offering Scott support as he navigates his mysterious condition.
