Discover the intriguing chain of islands stretching from Florida's southern tip deep into the Caribbean. These aren’t just ordinary sandbanks-they’re Cayes, or Keys as they’re known in the U.S., connected by the iconic Highway 1.

The Dry Tortugas are a two-hour boat trip away but definitely worth the journey. Besides being the southernmost point in the U.S., Key West is famous for the Hemingway Museum, where the author lived for ten years and penned many of his novels.
