Good Omens

Beskrivelse

Get ready for a hilarious and thrilling ride as the end of the world approaches, based on the acclaimed book now adapted into a major TV series featuring David Tennant, Michael Sheen, and Benedict Cumberbatch.

A quirky and witty take on the apocalypse, where an angel and a demon team up to prevent the end of the world.

According to the precise predictions of Agnes Nutter, Witch, Judgement Day is just a week away, and the world is set to end soon. While people have been forecasting the apocalypse since time immemorial, it’s natural to be doubtful when a new date is announced.

But what if this time, the prophecies are spot on and the end really is coming next Saturday, right after tea? You could spend your remaining days drowning your sorrows, handing out your belongings in preparation for the rapture, or simply shrugging it off as another false alarm.

Or, you could try to change what’s about to happen. This is the dilemma faced by Aziraphale, a somewhat particular angel, and Crowley, a demon who enjoys the fast life. Both have been living among humans since the dawn of time and, truth be told, have grown quite attached to their earthly existence.

They’re not exactly eager for the Apocalypse to arrive. To make matters even more complicated, the Antichrist seems to have gone missing, adding a twist to their already tricky situation.
