Iron Flame

Beskrivelse

Violet Sorrengail has made it through her first year at Basgiath War College, but the toughest challenges are still ahead. In this gripping sequel to the bestselling Fourth Wing, Violet faces even greater dangers as her training intensifies.

Violet's fight for survival and power continues amid brutal trials and dark secrets.

Everyone expected Violet to fail during her first year at Basgiath War College, Violet herself included. The initial test, Threshing, was only the beginning, designed to eliminate those who lack strength, willpower, or luck. Now, the real ordeal starts, and Violet is already questioning how she’ll make it through.

The training isn’t just harsh and merciless; it’s crafted to push the dragon riders’ endurance to its absolute limits. Adding to the challenge is the new vice commandant, who has made it his goal to show Violet just how powerless she truly is-unless she betrays the man she loves.

Though Violet’s body may be more fragile than the others, her sharp mind and iron will remain unbroken. She holds on to the most vital lesson Basgiath has taught her: dragon riders create their own rules.

But sheer determination won’t be enough this year. Violet knows a centuries-old secret hidden within Basgiath War College, and she understands that not even dragon fire may be powerful enough to save them all in the end.
