Beskrivelse
If you identify with any form of Christianity, this book might not be the right choice for you. However, for those interested in a critical take on religious texts, it offers a provocative perspective.
A candid critique of certain religious teachings and historical attitudes.
This book suggests that if you're looking for challenging religious material, “The Old Testament” is a strong recommendation, especially for those curious about how God treated his “Chosen People.”
For readers who find the first part of this “good book” a bit mild, the author points to Martin Luther’s “Katekismus” as a way to see a more intense side. In Luther’s writings, the rebellious monk explains how to be a “good Christian” through harsh treatment of women, children, donkeys, dogs, cats, servants, and notably, Jews as well.
