Chain Of Iron

Beskrivelse

Set in Edwardian London, Chain of Iron follows the Shadowhunters as they hunt down a mysterious killer. This thrilling and romantic sequel to the bestselling Chain of Gold continues the story of Cordelia Carstairs and her tangled relationships.

A gripping tale of secrets, danger, and love in the Shadowhunter world.

Cordelia Carstairs appears to have it all: she's engaged to James Herondale, the boy she's loved since childhood, and enjoys a new life in London alongside her best friend Lucie Herondale and James's lively group of friends, the Merry Thieves. She's also about to reunite with her father and wields the legendary sword Cortana.

But beneath the surface, things are far darker. Cordelia and James's engagement is a sham, arranged to protect her reputation. Meanwhile, James harbors feelings for the enigmatic Grace Blackthorn, whose brother Jesse died tragically years earlier. Adding to the tension, Cortana burns Cordelia’s hand when she touches it, and her father has become bitter and resentful.

As a serial killer stalks the Shadowhunters of London, striking under the cover of night and disappearing without a trace, Cordelia, James, Lucie, and the Merry Thieves must navigate the city's most perilous streets to track down the murderer. All the while, each of them is hiding a startling secret...
