In 1988, on a Malibu beach, Lindbergh created the White Shirts series, a set of simple yet powerful images that launched the careers of legendary models like Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington, Rachel Williams, Karen Alexander, Tatjana Patitz, and Estelle Lefebure. This moment marked the start of a new era in fashion photography, one that reshaped the definition of beauty.

This edition compiles more than 300 photographs from Lindbergh's forty-year journey, highlighting his cinematic style and deeply human approach. His images combine seduction with introspection, offering a unique perspective on his subjects.

Back in 1980, Rei Kawakubo invited Lindbergh to shoot a Comme des Garçons campaign, granting him complete creative freedom. This early commercial work led to lasting collaborations with some of fashion’s most revered designers, including Azzedine Alaia, Giorgio Armani, Alber Elbaz, John Galliano, Jean Paul Gaultier, Karl Lagerfeld, Thierry Mugler, Yves Saint Laurent, Jil Sander, and Yohji Yamamoto.
