Under The Whispering Door

Beskrivelse

Under the Whispering Door is a heartfelt and witty tale about a man who, after a life spent at the office, faces the reality of his own death and the chance to find meaning beyond work. This story blends warmth and humor as it explores life, death, and what lies in between.

A touching story about embracing life, even after death.

Welcome to Charon's Crossing, where the tea is steaming, the scones are fresh, and the dead are merely passing through. Wallace is shocked when a reaper arrives to collect him from his own sparsely attended funeral. Though initially outraged, he soon begins to accept the truth-he is indeed dead.

Hugo, the owner of a curious tea shop, offers to help Wallace cross over, but Wallace clings to his past life. Having spent his days working tirelessly, correcting coworkers, and bossing employees, he never made time for fun or friendships. Yet, as he sips tea with Hugo and chats with the shop's unusual visitors, Wallace starts to wonder if he missed out on something important.

With the company of a resident ghost, some awkwardly funny moments involving strange footwear, and the quiet beauty of the stars, Wallace begins to see life differently. Given just one week to move on, he decides to live an entire lifetime in seven days, discovering what truly matters along the way.
