Fourth Wing

Beskrivelse

Dive into the fierce and unforgiving world of Basgiath War College with Violet Sorrengail, a young woman forced to fight for survival among elite dragon riders. This gripping story has captured the hearts of hundreds of thousands of readers worldwide.

A thrilling journey through danger, loyalty, and the struggle to rise in a ruthless dragon-riding academy.

Violet Sorrengail, just twenty years old, expected a quiet life in the Scribe Quadrant, surrounded by books and history. Instead, her mother-the commanding general known for her iron will-commands Violet to compete with hundreds of other candidates aiming to become Navarre's elite: dragon riders.

But Violet faces a deadly disadvantage. Smaller and more fragile than the others, she’s at constant risk because dragons refuse to bond with those they see as weak. Instead of a partner, they bring destruction to the “fragile.” With fewer dragons than riders, many competitors would gladly see her dead to improve their own chances.

On top of that, Violet must contend with enemies like Xaden Riorson, the ruthless wingleader in the Riders Quadrant, who despises her simply for being her mother’s daughter. To survive, Violet will have to rely on every ounce of her cunning and determination just to make it through each day.

As the war outside intensifies, the kingdom’s defenses falter, and the body count rises, Violet starts to suspect that those in charge are hiding a dark secret. At Basgiath, everyone has their own agenda, and danger lurks in every shadow. There are only two ways out of this brutal academy: graduate or die.

With over a quarter of a million readers awarding it five stars, Fourth Wing invites you to step into a world where every night could be your last. Are you ready to face the challenge?
