Fourth Wing

Beskrivelse

Step into the fierce and unforgiving world of Basgiath War College, where survival is a daily battle and trust is scarce. Violet Sorrengail, expected to lead a quiet life among books, finds herself thrust into the deadly ranks of aspiring dragon riders.

A gripping tale of survival, power, and unexpected alliances in a world where only the strongest rise.

At just twenty years old, Violet was meant to join the peaceful Scribe Quadrant, surrounded by history and knowledge. Instead, her commanding general mother sends her to compete with hundreds of others aiming to become Navarre’s elite dragon riders. But Violet faces a harsh reality: smaller and more fragile than her peers, she’s at constant risk. Dragons don’t bond with the weak-they burn them to ashes.

With fewer dragons than candidates, many would gladly see Violet dead to improve their own chances. Others, like Xaden Riorson-the ruthless wingleader of the Riders Quadrant-resent her simply for being her mother’s daughter. To survive, Violet must rely on her sharp mind and every ounce of cunning.

As the war outside intensifies, the kingdom’s defenses falter and casualties mount. Violet begins to suspect that those in charge are hiding dark secrets. In this brutal environment:

• Alliances will be formed.
• Lives will be lost.
• Traitors might turn into allies-or even lovers.

But one thing is clear: once you step inside Basgiath War College, there are only two options-graduate or die.
