Imaginal World, Imaginal Mind

Beskrivelse

Elisabeth Egekvist's spiritual experiences spark a deep search for understanding. Her journey blends academic study with personal insight, exploring the forgotten imaginal world and its significance for humanity's growth.

A reflective exploration of spiritual experiences and the revival of the imaginal world.

Elisabeth Egekvist embarks on a quest to make sense of a series of profound spiritual experiences. This path leads her through diverse university studies, where she encounters both contemporary and ancient thinkers such as the English anthropologist Gregory Bateson and the Islamic mystic Ibn 'Arabi. Their perspectives help her piece together an understanding of her own development up to a certain point.

Building on this foundation, Elisabeth develops her own ideas about the crucial need to reintroduce the imaginal world-a realm that was abandoned and forgotten centuries ago but now appears to be vital in humanity’s evolution.

In this book, she shares several spiritual experiences and analyzes them through the lens of relevant theories. It offers valuable insights for those curious about their own spiritual journeys and can also contribute to academic discussions on learning and creativity.
