Beskrivelse

The fifth novel in the Witcher series, now a major Netflix adaptation, follows Ciri as she finds herself trapped in a strange world far from Geralt and her fate. After escaping death through a portal in the Tower of the Swallow, she ends up in a realm ruled by Elves, with no clear way back.

Ciri's struggle to escape an alien world and reunite with Geralt amid ongoing dangers.

Ciri, the prophesied child, has stepped through a portal in the Tower of the Swallow, narrowly avoiding death, only to find herself stranded in an unfamiliar world inhabited by Elves. Time seems to have no meaning here, and the usual boundaries or gateways that might lead her home are nowhere to be found.

Despite these obstacles, Ciri refuses to give up. She understands that escaping this realm is crucial if she wants to reunite with Geralt, the Witcher, and their allies. But her challenges are far from over. Leo Bonhart, the ruthless man who hunted, injured, and tortured her, remains hot on her trail.

Meanwhile, the larger world continues to be engulfed in war, adding to the urgency and danger surrounding her journey.
