Beskrivelse
The saga that started with the award-winning DUNE continues with Children of Dune, set on the transformed world of Arrakis. Once a desert wasteland, Arrakis is now lush and fertile, but this new life brings its own dangers.
The story follows the heirs of Paul Atreides as they face threats to their empire amid environmental and political upheaval.
Arrakis, the sand-swept planet that was once dominated by the desert Fremen under Paul Atreides, has undergone a dramatic change. The world is now green and watered, but this transformation endangers the giant sandworms vital to the planet's economy.
Paul Atreides himself is no longer present, leaving his twin children, Leto and Ghanima, to navigate the challenges facing their heritage. As they explore possible solutions to save their world, fanatical forces rise up to challenge the powerful Atreides rule.
Their struggle goes beyond economic collapse, threatening the very future of the empire their father built.
