A Fate Inked In Blood

Beskrivelse

A fierce shield maiden, gifted with divine magic, fights to unite a fractured nation under a ruthless king while grappling with her growing feelings for his fiery son. This Norse-inspired fantasy romance weaves together danger, desire, and destiny.

A powerful warrior with a goddess's blood must navigate loyalty, love, and magic to shape the future of her land.

Freya is trapped in an unwanted marriage, spending her days gutting fish but dreaming of wielding an axe in battle-and maybe even taking down her brutish husband. Her life takes a sharp turn when her husband betrays her to the region's jarl, forcing Freya into a deadly fight against the jarl’s son.

To survive, Freya reveals her closely guarded secret: she carries a drop of a goddess’s blood, granting her magical powers that can deflect any attack. This magic is said to be the key to uniting the divided nation of Skaland under a single king-the one who holds the shield maiden’s fate in his hands.

The fanatical jarl, convinced of his destiny to rule Skaland, binds Freya with a blood oath and commands his son, Bjorn, to protect her from their enemies. Determined to prove her strength, Freya must train to master her magic and endure dangerous trials set by the gods.

Yet, the toughest challenge may be resisting her forbidden attraction to Bjorn. Giving in to her desire for the fierce and captivating warrior could threaten not only her own destiny but the future of everyone she has vowed to protect.
