After years of fighting alien oppressors, the Defiant Defense Force has finally won their freedom. But for Arturo Mendez, leader of Skyward Flight, this new era is far from what he expected. His first mission after the war is to escort diplomats to a newly discovered human settlement, isolated during the conflict.

An unexpected mission to reconnect with lost human colonies on a hostile planet.

Arturo’s task seems straightforward: accompany a diplomatic team to make contact with other human survivors scattered across the galaxy. The Defiant Defense Force has uncovered signs of these isolated groups, and Arturo’s flight is assigned to ensure the diplomats’ safety during this crucial encounter.

However, nothing about this mission goes as planned. The planet Blightfall is a harsh environment, shrouded in strange debris and dominated by massive, invasive forests that have overtaken much of the land. Shortly after arriving, Arturo and his team face attacks that reveal this settlement is far from what it initially seemed.

Stranded on an alien world and unsure of who to trust, Arturo and his pilots must navigate this dangerous new reality. To survive and find their way back home, they need to forge alliances and uncover secrets that have long been buried beneath the surface of Blightfall.
