This fleet, a living relic from humanity’s departure from Earth, is now part of the galactic community, yet many who still call it home worry their way of life is at risk.

The story centers on several characters: Tessa, who stayed behind when her brother Ashby left for the stars, faces uncertainty as her role on the Fleet is challenged. Kip, a young apprentice, yearns for something different but isn’t sure where to find it. Meanwhile, Sawyer, a newcomer feeling isolated, searches for a sense of belonging.

When disaster strikes this fragile society, the Exodans must confront a profound question: what becomes of a ship that has finally reached its destination?
